I'm Sammie Gibson.
I spent years inside Chargebee Retention, advising subscription eCommerce brands on reducing voluntary and involuntary churn. That meant cancel flow optimisation, save offer A/B testing, and pause-over-cancel programs for voluntary churn — and smart dunning sequences, payment retries, and revenue recovery for the involuntary side. The approach consistently saves 20 to 40% of customers who try to cancel, with some high-value segments seeing a 2x lift. I saw these numbers across dozens of brands. I also worked with Beauty Pie, Pret A Manger, and Oddbox as a vendor strategy partner on the broader retention picture.
I built Signal / Playbook / Deploy because I needed it for my own brand. I'm the founder of Givvie, a food gifting platform in Amsterdam. Nothing on the market was built for a founder running retention without a team. So I built the system I wished existed.
